About

David Cunningham

I have been a freelance photographer for 25 years. During this time, I have covered numerous assignments in the architectural, advertising, commercial and industrial sectors of professional photography.

I am an Associate member of the British Institute of Professional Photography and a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society.

I photograph buildings on a regular basis around the south of England. My work is carried out for Architects, Construction Companies and Commercial Property Agents and includes exterior and interior photography of Offices, Warehouses and Distribution Depots, as well as progress photography carried out on a regular basis over a period of time.

I am equally at home in a studio and shoot all kinds of products including electronic equipment, industrial items, clothing and cosmetics. A mobile studio for assembly on site is available to photograph product and people.

I am very proud to be the official photographer for Naomi House & jacksplace, Hospices for children and young adults. For the last three years, I have carried out photography on their behalf taking photographs of functions and events, children and their families as well as staff, the various facilities in and around the hospice and the recording of the recently completed jacksplace.

My association with Naomi House and jacksplace is one of the most rewarding relationships I have experienced in my career. Please visit their site using the link and if you are able to help in any way, please do.

Finally, thank you for taking the time to visit my site. If you would like any further information, please get in touch.

“David has been working with Naomi House Children’s Hospice for three years and in that time he has helped us to establish an excellent portfolio of images for use in our marketing materials.  From photographs to use in large outdoor displays to a library of shots for our website the quality of David’s work has always been excellent.  He has taken time to get to know our approach and understand our corporate style and the results have been very well received across the organisation.
In addition to providing promotional photography David has assisted us at numerous press and PR events including visit by royalty and celebrities.  David has always been an asset at these times and has supplied us with stunning results.

Progress Photography at jacksplace
“David supported us here at Naomi House Children’s Hospice throughout the construction of jacksplace, our new unit for young adults.  His remit was to record each step of the building programme and record the detail of the fabric of the building, so that once complete our facilities team would have an accurate source for carrying out maintenance work on our new property.
David’s understanding of construction has provided us with an excellent library of functional and descriptive images that have real practical benefits to the team here.  I knew that David would understand my brief and work with me to achieve exactly what I wanted.  I could trust David to get on with the job working under his own initiative to provide a comprehensive portfolio” –
